About the role

The Front Office Supervisor supports the Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Office Manager in delivering a seamless guest experience at Constance Le Chaland. Working on the hotel’s south‑eastern coast, you will lead the Front Desk, Concierge, Switchboard, Reservations, Business Centre and Transportation teams, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle guest check‑in and check‑out promptly and courteously.
  • Manage guest telephone calls and messages in line with hotel standards.
  • Respond quickly to guest issues, follow up, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Oversee room allocation using the reservation system and monitor the Night Audit Report daily.
  • Maintain front‑office stationery, stock levels, and ensure timely re‑ordering.
  • Ensure all accounting, legal and financial procedures comply with hotel policies and budget guidelines.
  • Identify training needs within the department and implement immediate solutions.
  • Promote a clean, safe environment and participate in recycling initiatives.
  • Uphold fire, health and safety regulations at all times.

Required profile

  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Excellent customer‑service orientation with a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
  • Good financial awareness and ability to work within budget constraints.
  • Professional attitude, body language and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of hotel policies, local regulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to allocate work, motivate staff and maintain high service standards.
