Graduate Analyst – Investment & Financial Markets

About the role

DualFin Markets Limited, an FSC-regulated investment dealer in Mauritius, is running a 24-month Graduate Development Programme for academically outstanding graduates. It offers practical exposure to international financial markets, working with overseas brokers, custodians and financial institutions. Graduates complete four six-month rotations and then progress to a permanent specialist role in one of the four divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Operations, Custody & Settlement: international securities transactions, clearing and settlement, cash and securities reconciliations, broker and custodian relationships, corporate actions and operational controls.
• Finance & Treasury: financial accounting and reporting, cash management, foreign exchange and liquidity, financial controls and regulatory financial reporting and capital monitoring.
• Compliance & Risk: KYC and AML, FSC regulatory requirements, market abuse surveillance, risk management and regulatory reporting.
• Investments & Trading (Front Office): financial markets and investment research, equities, fixed income and other instruments, trading and execution support, client coverage and investment services.

Required profile

• First Class Honours bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Banking or a closely related financial discipline; a master's degree in the same fields is strongly preferred.
• Grade A or A* in Mathematics at HSC/GCE A Level and Grade A in English at SC/GCE O Level; equivalent international qualifications accepted only where they show comparable achievement.
• Exceptional numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and spoken English, attention to detail and initiative.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills, flexibility to support international market hours, and ability to commute daily to the Moka office.
