Head of Marketing

About the role

Agiliss, a leading FMCG company in Mauritius, is looking for a dynamic, commercially minded and innovative Head of Marketing to join its Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role leads the development and execution of marketing strategies that strengthen brand equity, increase consumer engagement, support commercial performance and build a sustainable competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the overall marketing vision, brand strategy and growth roadmap.
• Partner with the CEO and Leadership Team to support market expansion, revenue growth and business performance.
• Manage and grow a diverse FMCG brand portfolio through positioning, product visibility, campaigns and launches.
• Use consumer insights, market research and competitor intelligence to identify opportunities and guide decisions.
• Lead digital marketing, social media, content and customer engagement initiatives.
• Work with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure marketing plans deliver measurable commercial results.
• Coach and develop a high-performing marketing team and build internal and external partnerships.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field; MBA or Master's degree is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in marketing, brand management, commercial leadership or a related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in a senior management or leadership role.
• Strong experience in FMCG, retail, distribution, consumer goods or a similar fast-paced environment.
