Head of People – Mauritius & Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our HR Shared Services function across Mauritius and Dubai. The role will partner closely with senior leadership, drive operational excellence, and enhance the employee experience while supporting the Global People Strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with directors and managers to understand People needs and ensure continuous engagement.
• Oversee the full employee life‑cycle – pre‑onboarding, onboarding, off‑boarding, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and deliver proactive HR services to the business.
• Conduct structured exit interviews and use feedback to improve HR practices.
• Manage work‑pass administration and ensure data accuracy in the Global People system.
• Ensure compliance with Mauritian labour law and internal policies.
• Lead, mentor and develop the HR Shared Services team in Mauritius and Dubai.
• Provide HR insights and metrics to leadership for informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior HR leadership, preferably as an Associate Director or similar.
• Strong ability to build relationships at all organisational levels.
• Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing HR operations across multiple locations.
