Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through impeccable cleanliness and visual standards onboard. This role leads a team to ensure premium service execution that is both memorable and consistent with brand expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall cleanliness and visual impression of guest areas, ensuring standards exceed expectations.
• Maintain and monitor housekeeping performance, providing coaching, training, and recognition to supervisors and crew.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and brand standards, including USPH and SQM guidelines.
• Manage daily operations, equipment usage, chemical handling, and personal protective equipment protocols.
• Foster a positive work environment through open communication and clear performance expectations.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years progressive housekeeping managerial experience, preferably in upscale hotels, resorts, or cruise ships.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and job safety analysis.
• Familiarity with talent assessment, quality service standards, and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Understanding of human‑resources policies and practices.
