Housekeeping Manager – Premium Hospitality

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through immaculate cleanliness and visual standards across all onboard areas. This role ensures seamless execution of premium housekeeping services, leading a team to maintain the highest level of hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public areas meet strict cleanliness and visual standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost‑control of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Develop, coach, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Implement and monitor safety procedures, chemical handling protocols, and personal protective equipment usage.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest services and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records using company software systems and generate performance reports.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years progressive housekeeping management experience, preferably in upscale hotels, resorts, or cruise ships.
• Strong hospitality, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of HR policies, talent assessment, and leadership development.
• Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience using industry software such as SQM, OCIMS, Fidelio, LGA, Medallia, and Kronos.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost containment, inventory management, and financial planning.
• Understanding of proper cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and equipment handling.
