Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Mauritius, responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces. The role ensures that all areas meet the luxury standards of Sea Resorts Hotels while supporting team development and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assign, monitor and inspect daily tasks for the housekeeping team.
• Conduct quality inspections to maintain luxury cleaning standards.
• Coordinate with laundry services and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure overall guest safety and satisfaction.
• Support training and development of housekeeping staff.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience with team leadership, task delegation and staff training.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and room‑cleaning standards.
• Experience handling laundry operations and coordinating with laundry services.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Previous experience in hotel or resort housekeeping, preferably in a luxury environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and variable hours as needed.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and commitment to safety.
• Basic proficiency in English and/or French; additional local languages are a plus.
