Investment Analyst

About the role

The Investment Analyst will work closely with global investment teams and traders to ensure the accurate and timely implementation of investment strategies across client portfolios. This role combines cash management, portfolio construction support, and governance responsibilities within a collaborative, technology‑enabled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cash balances and manage investing and divesting cash flows.
• Assist with equitisation and portfolio construction activities.
• Track asset exposures, allocations, and address pre‑trade client guideline warnings.
• Manage client‑specific requests and resolve exceptions.
• Oversee fund accounting outputs to ensure portfolio accuracy.
• Organise Investment Committee meetings, take minutes, follow up on actions, and prepare investment reports and due‑diligence documentation.
• Own the governance process for the investment management function.
• Provide risk analysis, hedging recommendations, detailed portfolio reporting, exposure tracking, and custom portfolio solutions.
• Report to the Investment Committee on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Ensure third‑party reporting is accurate and timely, calculate expense ratios, and perform ad‑hoc analytical tasks.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in a similar investment analysis role.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CFA, ACCA or ACA is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of global financial markets, instruments and investment products.
