IT Services Onsite Supervisor (Diego Garcia)

About the role

The IT Services Onsite Supervisor (ITSOS) provides on‑site leadership for all IT infrastructure supporting the contract at Diego Garcia. The role ensures compliance with USG, Navy, company, and PWS requirements while maintaining a secure and reliable network environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all IT infrastructure associated with the contract, ensuring operational readiness.
• Manage information system security, including risk assessments, vulnerability scans, security testing, and event‑log monitoring.
• Maintain network security and respond to security incidents.
• Be present on‑site during regular working hours and available within one hour after hours; provide 24/7 on‑call support as needed.
• Enforce safety and quality policies in accordance with Amentum standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer technology/operations or equivalent Navy Class "C" electronics training.
• Minimum seven years of managerial or supervisory experience in a comparable IT operation.
• At least six years recent experience operating/maintaining SHF satellite earth terminal equipment.
• Three years experience in a Technical Control Facility or two years managing similar facilities.
• US citizenship, ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, US passport, driver’s license, and meet PACOM medical requirements.
