IT Support – Laptop Deployment & Stock Validation Technician

About the role

The IT Support / Laptop Deployment Technician will be responsible for building, configuring and validating laptops before they are issued to end‑users. Working on‑site at the LPS facility in Les Pailles, the role ensures that each device meets the required operating system, driver and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble laptops and install Windows 11 (25H2) using bootable media.
• Load required drivers, applications and security tools via SCCM or Intune.
• Conduct hardware and software testing to verify functionality.
• Validate stock by checking serial numbers, asset tags, models and quantities against inventory records.
• Identify and report missing, damaged or mismatched assets.
• Update inventory databases and maintain accurate deployment documentation.
• Support staging, allocation, collection and troubleshooting of laptops.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, imaging or hardware deployment.
• Familiarity with laptop/desktop hardware components and troubleshooting.
• Attention to detail for inventory validation and asset management.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Laptop/Desktop hardware assembly and troubleshooting.
• Imaging tools such as SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
• IT asset management and inventory validation.
• Microsoft Excel for reporting.
