IT Technician

About the role

ICON Solutions Ltd is seeking an on‑site IT Technician to join its team in Moka, Mauritius. The role involves delivering prompt technical support to both external clients and internal staff, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Provide first‑line technical support to clients and internal users.
• Maintain and monitor IT systems, including servers, workstations and network equipment.
• Assist with backup, recovery and cloud hosting services.
• Deliver training sessions to improve user competence with IT tools.
• Document incidents and solutions in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in troubleshooting and technical support.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct clear training on IT tools and processes.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a focus on system reliability.
• Relevant IT certifications or formal qualifications preferred.
