Junior Payment Analyst

About the role

iQera is seeking a Junior Payment Analyst to join its growing team in Port Louis. You will support the monitoring and enhancement of the company’s payment solutions, helping to ensure smooth financial operations for large corporate and institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and improving the Group’s payment solutions.
• Analyse performance of various payment methods and track operational KPIs.
• Identify and resolve incidents or issues related to payment systems.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and mapping of payment solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Operations, Performance, Contract Management) and external partners.
• Stay informed on market innovations and emerging payment methods.
• Contribute to projects that deploy or improve payment solutions.
• Support implementation and monitoring of action plans aimed at enhancing payment performance.

Required profile

• Higher education degree (Bachelor’s to Master’s) in Management, Finance, Business, Information Systems or a related field.
• First experience in financial services, payments, banking or data analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Curiosity about new technologies and financial services.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools.
