Junior Sales Representative

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position supports the growth of Austral Groupe Énergie’s solar and energy‑storage solutions in Port Louis. As a Junior Sales Representative you will engage residential and business prospects, introduce the company’s offerings and help build a sustainable energy future.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new leads in the residential and commercial segments.
• Conduct introductory sales calls and follow‑up with potential customers.
• Present solar and storage solutions, preparing basic proposals and quotes under senior guidance.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and ensure timely documentation.
• Collaborate with senior sales staff and technical teams to align solutions with customer needs.
• Participate in site visits, local events and marketing initiatives to promote the brand.
• Meet agreed activity targets and provide field feedback to improve processes.

Required profile

• Foundational sales abilities such as lead generation, prospecting and basic negotiation.
• Strong customer‑service and communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities to handle multiple prospects and follow‑ups.
• Comfort using digital tools including CRM, email platforms and standard office software.
• Interest in renewable energy, sustainability and willingness to learn technical and regulatory aspects.
• Ability to work on‑site in Port Louis and collaborate in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
• Prior experience in sales, retail or customer‑facing roles is an advantage.
• Relevant education in business, marketing, sales or equivalent practical experience.
