L1 Security Engineer (Level 1) – Customer Support

About the role

Join Orange Business as an L1 Security Engineer, providing first‑level support and incident management to protect clients’ digital environments. You will work with French and international customers, ensuring timely resolution of security incidents while adhering to Service Level Agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level (L1) support in line with SLAs for French and global customers.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve security incidents reported by clients.
• Perform proactive monitoring to identify and address potential security issues.
• Collaborate with L2, L3 and Field Technical Support teams for escalations and resolutions.
• Manage customer communications, including calls and case handling, while maintaining SLA compliance.

Required profile

• Valid CCNA certification demonstrating solid networking knowledge.
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP and POP3.
• Fluent in French and English with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
