Legal and Compliance Assistant

About the role

BlueLife Limited is seeking a motivated Legal and Compliance Assistant to support its legal team and ensure regulatory compliance across the organisation. This role offers hands‑on experience in both legal research and compliance monitoring within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers in drafting, reviewing and filing legal documents.
• Monitor regulatory changes and support the implementation of compliance procedures.
• Maintain and organise legal files, contracts and compliance records.
• Conduct basic legal research and prepare summary reports for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure adherence to company policies and external regulations.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree, preferably LL.B (Hons) or a degree with a law component.
• Minimum two years of experience in legal or compliance functions.
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Required skills

• Legal research and document preparation.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
