Line Cook – Full‑time Kitchen Position

About the role

We are seeking reliable, self‑motivated line cooks to join our professional kitchen team. The successful candidates will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established kitchen standards.
• Demonstrate good knife skills and safely handle all kitchen equipment.
• Work efficiently during service periods and maintain a clean, organised workstation.
• Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with daily food preparation and overall kitchen operations.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• English language proficiency.
• Preferably residing nearby or able to arrange reliable transportation to Grand Baie.
