About the role
We are seeking reliable, self‑motivated line cooks to join our professional kitchen team. The successful candidates will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and teamwork.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established kitchen standards.
- Demonstrate good knife skills and safely handle all kitchen equipment.
- Work efficiently during service periods and maintain a clean, organised workstation.
- Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with daily food preparation and overall kitchen operations.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- English language proficiency.
- Preferably residing nearby or able to arrange reliable transportation to Grand Baie.
