Lounge Supervisor – Port Louis, Mauritius

About the role

The Lounge Supervisor ensures Emirates customers receive premium service in the Port Louis lounge by coordinating staff, managing suppliers, and maintaining operational standards. Reporting to the Senior Emirates Official on duty, you will lead a team of Lounge Agents and oversee all day‑to‑day activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy Lounge Agents and Emirates resources efficiently to meet customer and operational needs.
• Brief and monitor service suppliers to ensure they meet Emirates standards and timelines.
• Control food, beverage and consumable costs while minimizing waste.
• Handle passenger queries and complaints promptly to restore confidence.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly and statistical reports, including stock control and meal wastage.
• Motivate, coach and groom Lounge Agents, providing feedback for performance management.
• Develop relationships with other airlines for potential lounge usage outside EK flight hours.
• Conduct self‑audits and HQ‑directed audits, reporting non‑conformances and corrective actions.
• Support ticket desk duties and other administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• O‑Level or equivalent qualification.
• Completion of professional training in passenger & ground operations and basic reservations & ticketing.
• Minimum four years experience in the airline industry, including at least one year in a supervisory or similar role.
