Customs Process Analyst

About the role

The Customs Process Analyst will oversee the smooth processing of SCDP Supplementary Declarations for a designated customer on a month‑to‑month basis. The role includes completing month‑end checks, ensuring all entries comply with HMRC rules and maintaining the customer’s CFSP authorisation. It requires meticulous attention to detail while also looking for ways to improve existing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Input shipment details to create Supplementary Declarations in Ricardo.
• Cross‑reference CSG files with customer Excel data, flagging any anomalies in pieces or value.
• Funnel matched invoices and line details into Ricardo and complete warehouse removals.
• Resolve CDS errors linked to entries and perform month‑end checks for the final Supplementary Declaration.
• Merge and upload documentation to the customer’s SharePoint site and log entry details in the UCR and Query logs.
• Answer internal and customer queries and undertake required training.
