Manager, Strategy and Innovation

About the role

EY Parthenon Mauritius is recruiting a manager focused on growth strategy for its Strategy and Innovation team. The role leads and develops strategic projects for clients in Mauritius and the region, defining and implementing growth strategies while ensuring client satisfaction, quality deliverables and team development, and contributes to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Craft and lead strategic solutions for growth, transformation and operational efficiency, and manage complex projects with clear communication and customized solutions.
• Lead teams in commercial due diligence and strategy engagements, and define engagement objectives and deliverables with the Partner.
• Develop business strategies using market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, business plans, transformation roadmaps and portfolio optimization.
• Mentor and train junior consultants at Associate, Senior Associate and Consultant level, and build long-term client relationships.
• Prepare technical and financial proposals, support the sales process and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• Degree from a top business or engineering school, or equivalent in management; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• 5-8 years of consulting experience, ideally in finance, industry, banking, capital markets, wealth management, asset management or corporate finance.
• Experience managing M&A strategic diligence projects in complex environments, venture capital, investment banking or commercial banking.
• Fluent in English and French, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25-50% of the time.

• Strong quantitative skills to supervise data analysis, interpret results and generate insights.
• Ability to assess industries, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
• Clear communication of complex concepts to clients and internal teams.
