Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will design, develop, and test mechanical devices, machines, and systems. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate mechanical components and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
• Conduct research, analyse data, and improve existing designs.
• Develop and test prototypes to meet specifications.
• Manage projects, coordinate with other teams, and ensure timely delivery.
• Perform quality control checks and oversee manufacturing and assembly.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical systems in the field.
• Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles and machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts, and labor costs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong foundation in maths, science, and English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar mechanical engineering role.
• Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑aided design (CAD) software.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment for mechanical troubleshooting.
