Mechanical Engineer – Design, Development & Maintenance

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and testing mechanical components and systems across our production facilities. The role combines engineering design work with hands‑on maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components such as engines, tools and machines using CAD software.
• Conduct research, analyse data and improve existing designs.
• Develop and test prototypes to ensure they meet specifications.
• Manage projects, coordinate with cross‑functional teams and ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace faulty parts.
• Carry out quality‑control checks, safety inspections and maintain accurate service records.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with solid foundation in maths, science and English.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar mechanical engineering role.
• Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑aided design (CAD) software.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment for mechanical troubleshooting.
