Hybrid Technician – Equipment Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Technician to join our team in Trou aux Biches. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work on‑site and, when operational needs permit, from home. You will support production and laboratory activities by performing routine equipment checks, basic maintenance, and instrument calibration.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
• Calibrate laboratory and production instruments according to standard procedures.
• Collect, record, and report operational data.
• Prepare simple reports for supervisors and production teams.
• Monitor material inventories and assist with stock replenishment.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues and communicate findings.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety policies.
• Participate in training sessions to keep technical skills up to date.

Required profile

• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and instruments used in technical, laboratory, or industrial settings.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and quality checks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in a hybrid environment.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks.
• Comfort with computers and common office or data‑entry software; willingness to learn new systems.
• Relevant technical diploma, certificate, or equivalent practical experience (e.g., chemistry, engineering, industrial technology) is an advantage.
• Commitment to safe work practices and continuous learning; prior experience in manufacturing, lab, or maintenance is a plus.
