Mergers & Acquisitions Manager

About the role

The Mergers & Acquisitions Manager will lead a team that evaluates and analyses potential investment opportunities, acquisitions, strategic partnerships and expansion initiatives. You will provide senior stakeholders with rigorous financial insights that drive investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial evaluation of targets across multiple sectors, assessing viability, profitability and sustainability.
• Review business plans, investment proposals and strategic initiatives to formulate clear recommendations.
• Conduct detailed income‑statement, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow analyses, identifying risks, non‑recurring items and scalability factors.
• Manage financial due‑diligence processes, coordinate with external advisors, auditors and legal teams.
• Oversee development of complex financial models, perform sensitivity and scenario analysis, and calculate IRR, NPV, payback periods and ROI.
• Identify value‑creation opportunities and support merger, acquisition, joint‑venture and strategic‑investment decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading financial analysis or M&A teams.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, valuation methods and financial reporting.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to senior stakeholders.
