Network Solutions & Product Manager (Mauritius)

About the role

Huawei Mauritius is looking for a Network Solutions & Product Management expert to support fixed network solution sales, pre-sales and business development across the Sub-Saharan Africa region. Both experienced professionals and relevant local fresh graduates may be considered; fluent Mandarin is a strong advantage for fresh graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for fixed network solutions.
• Lead pre-sales, solution design, technical proposals and RFP responses.
• Engage telecom operators and key decision-makers on network planning, implementation, service provisioning and maintenance.
• Drive opportunities across DWDM, OTN, IP, FTTH, OLT, ODN, ONT, home broadband, IP core, IP RAN and DCI.
• Work with sales, product and R&D teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Conduct market and competitor research and identify new business opportunities.
• Support Account Managers and Solution Managers in achieving sales targets.
• Present and demonstrate solutions to customers and support complex commercial opportunities.
• Travel within the region as required.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering or IT.
• 2+ years' experience in fixed network solutions or products sales or pre-sales preferred.
• Fluent English; Mandarin is a bonus.
• HCIE/CCIE or equivalent certification is advantageous.

Required skills

• Knowledge of DWDM, OTN, IP, routers, switches, FTTH, OLT, ODN and ONT.
• Understanding of telecom operator network planning, operations and RFX processes.
• Strong consulting, commercial, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
