Senior System Administrator

About the role

Orange Business is looking for a Senior System Administrator to lead infrastructure and technical operations across a global, multi‑tier cloud environment. You will work with a diverse team to deliver reliable, secure services and support customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor infrastructure deployments, including configuration, testing and maintenance of VMware, Microsoft and Linux technologies.
• Implement backup, security and redundancy strategies, and lead technical escalations during major incidents.
• Provide technical guidance on escalated tickets, change requests and project handovers, and coach team members through quality reviews.
• Drive change management processes, plan major upgrades, and act as the key client contact for critical system changes.
• Develop and maintain support documentation, knowledge bases, and standardized procedures for messaging and collaboration services.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong time‑management, organizational and communication skills with a proactive, self‑motivated attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and build strong relationships with local and international teams.

• VMware, Microsoft Windows Server, Linux administration.
• Networking, databases, virtualization, backup and security technologies.
• ITIL‑based incident, change and problem management.
• Scripting and automation across multi‑tier cloud infrastructure.
