Operations Team Leader

About the role

As the Operations Team Leader in OBT’s Mauritius office, you will support efficient vessel and husbandry operations, supervise the operations team and ensure alignment with company procedures, compliance and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily vessel and husbandry operations.
• Supervise and develop the operations team.
• Coordinate vessels, handle reporting, documentation and performance monitoring.
• Manage disbursement accounts, control costs and assist with billing.
• Provide customer service and maintain clear communication.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Mauritius resident (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Maritime Studies or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in shipping operations and team supervision.
• Proficiency in MACCS, VCS and a valid MS driver’s licence.
• Fluent English communication.
