Outdoor Salesperson

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Outdoor Salespersons to join our field team as Face-to-Face Fundraisers. You will work in busy public locations, engaging passers-by, raising awareness of environmental issues and encouraging them to become regular supporters of Greenpeace’s campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Approach members of the public and hold brief, persuasive conversations about the organisation’s mission.
• Explain current environmental campaigns clearly and answer questions.
• Recruit new regular donors in an ethical, professional manner.
• Achieve daily and weekly fundraising targets.
• Represent Greenpeace positively at all times.
• Collaborate with a dynamic, results-driven team.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence when speaking to strangers.
• Positive attitude, resilience and passion for environmental and social causes.
• Ability to work outdoors and stand for long periods.
• Sales, marketing or fundraising experience is an advantage but not required – full training provided.
