Part Qualified Accountant

About the role

Tenfa Company Ltd is seeking a part‑qualified accountant to join its finance team. Working closely with the Head Accountant, you will support day‑to‑day financial operations in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise sales invoicing, sales returns and a team of accounts clerks.
• Review debtor ageing reports and chase overdue accounts.
• Perform stock counts and reconcile inventory.
• Reconcile control accounts, including sales, receipts, import bills and returned cheques.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, remittance advices and VAT returns.
• Compile weekly and monthly management accounts and audit files.
• Handle MRA reporting requirements.

Required profile

• ACCA part‑qualified.
• Previous experience as a Junior Accountant or Accountant in a commercial industry such as FMCG, food manufacturing, retail or distribution.
• Experience supervising or managing a small team.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting).
• Competent use of SAGE accounting software.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook and Microsoft Word.
