About the role
Navitas Holdings Ltd is looking for a dedicated Accounts Clerk to support the delivery of accurate and timely accounting services. The role involves maintaining financial records, helping prepare financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Record financial transactions such as invoices, expenses and bank entries
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Check reports, figures and postings for accuracy
- Reconcile records and report any discrepancies
- Prepare monthly payments to suppliers
- Assist with tax filings
Required profile
- HSC with good grades in accounting; no prior experience required, but 1-2 years in accounting or a related field is an advantage
- Ability to follow structured processes
- Attention to detail, good time management and teamwork
Required skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
