About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our expanding team in Ebene, Mauritius. The role ensures timely and accurate payroll processing while complying with local labour laws and company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end payroll operations, guaranteeing accuracy and timely delivery.
- Prepare, verify and maintain payroll data and records.
- Ensure compliance with tax, statutory and superannuation obligations.
- Support payroll process improvements and service delivery initiatives.
- Gather timesheets, validate data with site administrators and project managers.
- Post payroll journals in the accounting/ERP system and assist with audits.
- Produce month‑end reports and complete checklists for financial reporting.
- Liaise with financial institutions as required.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience using a computerized payroll system.
- Strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality and accountability.
- Ability to meet deadlines and resolve problems proactively.
Required skills
- Experience with Praxima or similar payroll software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with ERP accounting systems.
