Physiotherapist – Manual Therapy & Sports Medicine

About the role

MAT – Manual Adjustment Therapy & Sports Medical Advice is seeking qualified physiotherapists to join its on‑site team in Pointe aux Canonniers, Mauritius. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and focuses on delivering patient‑centered manual and exercise‑based rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examination.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, exercise therapy, and rehabilitation programs.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, exercise routines, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and refer when appropriate.

Required profile

• Recognized degree or diploma in Physiotherapy.
• Some professional experience in a clinical setting.
• Proactive, empathetic, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical standards, and high‑quality care.
