PO Follow Up Specialist

About the role

The PO Follow Up Specialist acts as the bridge between country buyers, suppliers, and the Accounts Payable team. You will ensure accurate receipt and recording of sales order confirmations, track supplier deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies related to goods receipt notes and invoices.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the PO follow‑up confirmation process and monitor delivery commitments.
• Analyse supplier portal and tracking reports to assess PO status and past‑due deliveries.
• Contact suppliers for status updates and keep tracking reports current.
• Ensure Goods Received Notes are raised promptly upon order receipt.
• Resolve accounts payable queries and coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and PO creation specialists.
• Handle ticket issues in ServiceNow (SNOW) and PACT, escalating when necessary.
• Set up routine communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in management, procurement, commercial or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in FMCG environments.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to prioritize workload independently.
• Effective communication and collaborative working skills.
