PO Follow-up Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a PO Follow‑up Specialist to act as the bridge between local buyers, suppliers and the Accounts Payable team. The role ensures purchase orders are accurately confirmed, delivered on time and properly recorded in the system.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the PO follow‑up and confirmation process from order receipt to goods receipt.
• Analyse supplier portal and tracking reports to identify overdue deliveries and status gaps.
• Contact suppliers to obtain up‑to‑date PO information and update internal tracking reports.
• Monitor goods receipt, raise Goods Received Notes and resolve invoice or GRN discrepancies.
• Coordinate with buyers, PO creation specialists and suppliers until final delivery is completed.
• Handle Accounts Payable queries related to purchase orders and resolve ticket issues in ServiceNow and PACT.
• Escalate critical issues to the RPSS Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Management, Procurement, Commercial or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in FMCG procurement or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to prioritize workload independently.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
