PO Follow‑Up Specialist

About the role

The PO Follow‑Up Specialist ensures smooth coordination between buyers, suppliers, and Accounts Payable. You will manage purchase order confirmations, monitor delivery performance, and resolve discrepancies to support accurate procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse supplier portal and tracking reports to assess PO status, overdue deliveries, and confirmations.
• Contact suppliers to obtain up‑to‑date PO information and update tracking reports.
• Monitor goods receipt, address Accounts Payable queries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Coordinate with buyers, PO creation specialists, and suppliers for partial and final deliveries.
• Resolve AP discrepancies related to purchase orders.
• Handle ticket issues, provide solutions to requestors, and escalate complex cases to the PO Management Lead.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in management, procurement, commercial or a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sourcing tools such as SAP.
• Experience using Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) systems.
