About the role
Northfields International School is seeking a passionate Primary Drama Teacher to join its vibrant Primary School community. The role involves delivering inquiry‑based performing arts lessons to students aged 3‑11 within the IB Primary Years Programme framework.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging drama and performing‑arts lessons that align with the school curriculum and IB standards.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, ensuring each child is challenged and supported.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues across subjects to integrate performing arts into interdisciplinary projects.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular programme, including productions, workshops and community events.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience teaching drama or performing arts to primary‑age students.
- Commitment to inquiry‑based learning and the holistic development of young learners.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Flexibility, creativity and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering artistic expression.
