Process Engineer – Continuous Improvement

About the role

The company seeks a motivated Process Engineer to drive process improvement, digitalisation and automation across manufacturing operations, helping to streamline processes and deliver measurable gains in productivity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, map and document manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements using Lean tools such as Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis.
• Lead digitalisation projects: deploy production monitoring, data collection systems, build real‑time KPI dashboards and integrate digital tools with IT.
• Evaluate automation opportunities, support specification, installation and commissioning of automated equipment, and prepare business cases.
• Define and monitor KPIs for productivity, efficiency, quality and capacity utilization, track project progress and report results.
• Share best practices between Mauritius and Madagascar sites, support new factory developments and travel occasionally for project implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Process, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s a plus).
• 3–5 years of experience in process/ manufacturing engineering or continuous improvement, preferably in textile or high‑volume manufacturing.
• Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification is advantageous.
