Project Finance Officer

About the role

The Project Finance Officer supports the Finance department by ensuring accurate daily financial operations, record keeping, and budgeting for projects. Working closely with the Project Finance Manager, the role helps maintain compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record, process and reconcile daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments and project‑related expenses.
• Maintain up‑to‑date accounting ledgers, monitor accounts payable and receivable, and process supplier payments.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual management reports, budget monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Support cash‑flow monitoring, internal and external audits, and the preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure all transactions comply with internal controls, company policies and financial regulations, and maintain proper filing systems.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in finance, accounting or an administrative role.
• Experience with Sage accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
