QA Auditor / Inspector

About the role

The QA Auditor / Inspector will enforce the Contractor’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all work complies with contractual specifications, policies, and industry standards. This position is essential for maintaining high quality standards, conducting inspections, and driving continuous improvement on the project.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce the Contractor’s QMS across all project facets, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct daily quality audits, inspections, and reviews to evaluate work performance.
• Monitor and document work activities during regular government hours to verify contractual compliance.
• Coordinate with the Quality Manager while remaining independent from the Project Manager for reporting.
• Inspect completed and ongoing work to confirm adherence to specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and findings, and prepare reports for the Quality Manager.
• Identify non‑conformities, develop corrective actions, and support training initiatives to keep the team up‑to‑date with best practices.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; QA‑related certifications are a plus.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience enforcing QMS in projects of similar scope.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge equal to or exceeding that of personnel being inspected.
• Strong organizational abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet contract medical requirements for the duration of the assignment.
