Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation Testing)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer specialized in test automation. You will be responsible for defining test strategies, building automated test suites, and ensuring high‑quality, reliable digital solutions across the software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define, document and maintain test strategies, plans and approaches for projects and releases.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications and APIs using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to support fast, reliable releases.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and business analysts to translate requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke and end‑to‑end testing and log defects in Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Provide mentorship on testing standards and automation best practices.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
• Strong programming/scripting skills (TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, C#).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
• Familiarity with test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira) and version control (Git, Azure Repos).
• Basic SQL knowledge for test data validation.
