Quantity & Technical Coordinator

About the role

IDECO is seeking a highly organised Quantity & Technical Coordinator to support the planning and execution of flooring projects. You will work closely with the sales, technical, and installation teams to ensure accurate cost estimates, material planning and smooth project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take‑offs, cost estimates and material requirements for flooring projects.
• Develop cutting plans and optimise material utilisation.
• Assist the sales team with pricing, tender costing and project quotations.
• Coordinate installation planning together with the Flooring Technical Supervisor.
• Liaise with clients to schedule surveys, installations and project appointments.
• Maintain installation schedules, planning calendars and project costing files.
• Monitor project progress and keep planning schedules up‑to‑date.
• Support tender preparation by providing quantity calculations, cost breakdowns and technical information.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, stores and installation teams to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience in project coordination, technical administration or flooring construction.
• Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driving licence.
