Registered Nurse – Emergency & Pre-Hospital Care

About the role

Medlogistics Ltd is expanding its Ambulance and Emergency Medical Services team and seeks full‑time Nursing Officers to provide high‑quality pre‑hospital care, inter‑facility transfers, and medical escort services across Mauritius.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with emergency medical teams to deliver safe, patient‑centred care in ambulance and on‑site settings.
• Perform clinical assessments, interventions, and documentation during pre‑hospital missions.
• Manage inter‑facility patient transfers and specialised medical escort assignments.
• Maintain clinical excellence and adhere to patient‑safety protocols at all times.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing Council of Mauritius with a valid practising licence and Certificate of Character.
• 2–3 years post‑registration clinical experience.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong communication, sound clinical judgement, and composure under pressure.
• A compassionate, patient‑centred approach.

Required skills

• BLS certification (or ACLS).
• ACLS certification (or BLS).
• Experience in Emergency Department, ICU, HDU, Anaesthesia, Ambulance, or Critical Care settings.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Proficient clinical assessment and documentation abilities.
