Reservations Consultant

About the role

The Reservations Consultant supports the reservations and sales teams by managing supplier data, handling client inquiries, and ensuring accurate rate loading. The role requires strong organization, analytical abilities, and effective communication in both English and French.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily email correspondence and respond promptly to internal and external requests.
• Prepare and upload special offers, rates, and stop‑sales from suppliers within defined time‑frames (24 h for rates, 12 h for stop‑sales).
• Verify supplier contracts against check‑lists and ensure accurate data entry.
• Perform quality checks and testing of loaded data to guarantee 100 % accuracy.
• Maintain daily work‑log and report progress to the Head of Department.
• Assist the reservations and sales teams with quote requests, bookings, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with the ERP Project Leader on system development and with the Revenue Team to optimise online channel efficiency.
• Monitor market trends, develop analytical skills, and proactively address operational or technical issues.

Required profile

• HSC or in progress of a Diploma/BTS in Hotel or Tourism Management (or equivalent).
• Good mathematics skills.
• 1–2 years experience in a Destination Management Company (DMC) is an advantage.
• Highly organized, analytical, and a fast learner with a positive attitude.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities in English and French.
