Safety & Health Officer

About the role

The Safety & Health Officer will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of health and safety practices across our restaurant cluster. Based at the Head Office in Bagatelle, you will ensure compliance with OSHA 2005, support risk management, and foster a proactive safety culture for all team members.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a Health & Safety Management System aligned with OSHA 2005.
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, audits and document findings.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, then implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, risk assessments and statutory reports.
• Develop and deliver training programmes and safety awareness sessions.
• Ensure emergency preparedness, including fire drills and first‑aid readiness.
• Monitor H&S performance indicators and recommend improvements.
• Advise management on safety needs such as PPE and medical examinations.

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Minimum two years of experience in occupational safety & health (hospitality sector preferred).
• Fluent in English and French, written and spoken.
• Valid driving licence for site visits.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of OSHA 2005 regulations.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety audits.
• Experience investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions.
