Sales / Account Manager – Irrigation (Expat) – Mauritius

About the role

The Irrigation Sales / Account Manager will lead the growth of irrigation solutions across Mauritius, combining technical expertise with strong commercial acumen. This permanent, onsite position focuses on building client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored irrigation systems to meet revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across agricultural, estate and sugar‑cane sectors.
• Promote and sell a full range of irrigation solutions including drip systems, sprinklers, overheads, pumps, filtration and automation.
• Develop and execute territory sales strategies and conduct regular site visits.
• Assess client requirements, prepare system designs, technical proposals, cost estimates and quotations.
• Identify and participate in tenders and large‑scale irrigation projects, negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and provide insights on pricing and product improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Irrigation Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in a commercial irrigation environment.
• Proven sales track record with key‑account management experience.
• Deep technical knowledge of irrigation systems and equipment.
• Experience in agricultural, residential estate or sugar‑cane irrigation.
