Sales Executive - Hospitality

About the role

Sunlife, a hospitality group with five beach resorts in Mauritius and two golf courses, is looking for a Sales Executive in Ebene Skies. The role generates revenue by promoting and selling Sunlife services and facilities, pursuing new business, building client relationships and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential clients and target markets for hospitality services
• Seek new business through networking, cold-calling and attending industry events
• Build and maintain relationships with trade partners, understanding their needs and providing excellent service
• Deliver sales presentations, conduct sales visits and host potential clients
• Create customised proposals, negotiate contracts and meet profitability goals
• Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives
• Track market trends, competitor activity, booking patterns and ROI, and report performance to management
• Represent the company at trade shows and conferences
• Work with marketing, operations and event planning teams, and implement retention strategies for existing clients

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven sales experience, preferably in hospitality
• Valid driving licence and own car
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and events, and to work odd hours
