Sales Manager - Enterprise Payments (Mauritius)

About the role

Peach Payments, a fast-growing African payment solution provider, is looking for a proactive, results-driven Sales Manager for its Enterprise Sales team in Mauritius. The role sits within the office in Moka and focuses on large and medium-sized tech-forward companies. You will build relationships with management companies to secure global business leads, acquire medium to large enterprises and ensure their success, and be accountable for lead generation, forecast management and deal closing.

Key responsibilities

• Own the outcome: achieve ambitious targets in merchant acquisition and net revenue.
• Work directly with merchants to solve their payment challenges and guide them from lead generation to account management.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with key management companies to identify and secure global business leads.
• Lead the segment pipeline growth according to set targets and forecasting requirements.
• Build and maintain enduring customer relationships up to C-level.
• Work cross-functionally to help shape Peach's products and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Take part in key industry events to raise market awareness and build presence.

Required profile

• Proven track record in closing enterprise merchants; 3+ years of experience working with global businesses.
• Ability to find new merchants, cold call and generate leads, manage pipelines and close deals.
• Ability to build strategic executive relationships with customers and industry thought leaders.
• Passion for scaling new technology businesses.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in business terms and work cross-functionally.
• Experience in payments or e-commerce is highly preferable.
• A valid driving licence in Mauritius is mandatory.
