Senior Application Developer – Python, AI & React

About the role

Dayforce is looking for a Senior Application Developer to join its Innovation Solutions team. You will work on cutting‑edge AI‑driven solutions, enhancing chatbot functionality and building full‑stack applications that support the company’s global HCM platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and develop AI‑powered features using Python and React.
• Own the full software development lifecycle from analysis to testing and support.
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams to define and deliver required functionality.
• Lead the creation and scaling of enterprise‑grade applications.
• Assess risks of new features, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure system stability.
• Mentor junior developers and guide best‑practice implementation.
• Break down feature requests into tasks, estimate effort, and manage timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in Python and AI concepts.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise applications on Azure.
• Hands‑on experience in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
