Senior Compliance Administrator

About the role

The Senior Compliance Administrator will support Apex Group’s compliance function in Ebene, Mauritius, ensuring adherence to AML/CFT policies and delivering high‑quality compliance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company and group AML/CFT policies.
• Conduct file reviews, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and complex structures.
• Design, review and update formats of compliance reports and compile findings for KPI reporting.
• Draft guidance notes on flagged screening reports and assist with ongoing monitoring per the compliance calendar.
• Review and propose enhancements to compliance procedures and assist in updating the AML/CFT and Compliance Manual.
• Address AML and compliance queries from internal units and senior staff, and liaise with local authorities.
• Provide regular reports, feedback and timely responses to queries.
• Collaborate with client and group services, support colleagues, and complete ad‑hoc assignments within agreed timeframes.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or a recognized professional qualification.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in compliance, AML/CFT or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and AML/CFT issues for a global business.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines.
