Senior Executive/Executive Assurance – IT Audit

About the role

The Senior Executive/Executive Assurance – IT Audit leads planning and execution of IT audit engagements for both external and internal clients. You will evaluate IT General Controls, application and cybersecurity controls, and provide practical remediation recommendations while adhering to Deloitte methodologies and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute IT audit engagements for external and internal audit clients.
• Assess IT General Controls such as User Access Management, Change Management, IT Operations, Backup & Disaster Recovery, and Logical Security.
• Evaluate automated application and interface controls.
• Identify technology risks and document findings using Deloitte tools.
• Perform walkthroughs, test design, and assess operating effectiveness of IT controls.
• Prepare working papers, audit reports, and client presentations.
• Support cyber, data privacy, and information security assessments.
• Maintain effective client relationships throughout engagements.
• Supervise, coach, and review junior team members.
• Ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT Audit, Technology Risk, Information Security or related areas.
• Professional certifications such as CISA preferred; CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or CRISC are advantageous.

Required skills

• Understanding of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and related processes.
• Familiarity with databases, operating systems, networks and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and information security frameworks.
• Experience with SOX, COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL and risk management frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analytics or audit tools.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
