Senior Fund Accountant - Private Equity

About the role

Apex Group, a fund administration and middle office solutions provider founded in Bermuda in 2003, is hiring a Senior Fund Accountant for Private Equity funds. The role covers NAV reporting, financial statements, tax filings and liaison with auditors, with overall responsibility for client relationships, inquiries and meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the NAV reporting pack for Private Equity funds, on the frequency required by clients, with the possibility of review
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual account and financial statements, at the frequency required by clients, with the possibility of review
• Prepare annual and quarterly tax returns, TDS filing and other filings with the Mauritius Revenue Authority
• Liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits
• Take part in transfer agency transactions as and when required
• Handle overall responsibility for client relationships, inquiries and meetings

Required profile

• Around 4-5 years of accounting working experience; fund industry experience is an advantage
• ACCA qualified, or partly qualified, or any equivalent qualification
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Organised, accurate, willing to learn and take on new tasks, and a team player

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with fund accounting software (Investran, Efront) is an advantage
